The Academy's fundamental role and the prominent mission assigned to it, is to present Islamic Shari'a in proper way, to highlight its merits and show its unique aptitude in addressing contemporary human issues and achieving happiness for mankind both in is world and in the hereafter, in accordance with a comprehensive Islamic conception, with its principles, resources, rules and laws, being cognizant of e fact that Islamic Fiqh is the fruit of the application of the Shari'a dictated by Allah Almighty.

To achieve Islamic unity in theory and in practice, through personal., social and international behaviour and according to Islamic Shari'a.

To induce the Islamic Ummah to adhere to its faith and to study problems of contemporary life and to undertake an authentic and effective analysis thereof with the purpose of providing solutions based on Islamic Shari' and culture and open to forward looking Islamic thought.
